KM2674 Waimea Beckons by Kit Hevron Mahoney

Here is a commission I just finished for a client to go in their new Kauai home. It was such a joy to paint as I am so enamored with painting ocean and boat scenes. Living in Colorado is the best but I do miss the salt air, sound of the surf and luscious colors of the ocean that is missing from the Rocky Mountains!This painting is 36"x60". After all my small daily paintings it was a shock as to how much paint goes into one this size!
