Spring Creek, oil and sunblock on canvas by Margaret Aycock

I tried to get a group together to go to the creek with me and ended up with just my husband and me ( he is that cute figure at the edge of the water )  We had all the makings of a relaxing afternoon; books to read, a fresh canvas, paints and mineral spirits.  I ended up knocking the spirits over and found that sunblock lotion does a pretty dang good job as a medium and brush cleaner:-)  This is a little 8x10 sketch that I did that day.  I will have it in my ebay gallery.  I have a ton of paintings on auction this week.  Feel free to check them out.  click here to go to my ebay gallery.  click here to go to my blog
