LITTLE SLEEPING BEAUTY by ELIZABETH BLAYLOCK

10 x 8 OIL ON CANVAS
$275 plus s/h
This  is an oil painting of my niece piled up in  bed with about 5 or 6 pillows and my favorite floral Ralph Lauren comforter.
Oh, children are so precious when they are sleeping!  Try waking them up for school and things can take a turn for the worst..
The only way I can get this one up and going is tell her that a big  spider is crawling on the bed. That always gets her up in a New York second!!
I was working towards a loose warm painting using a lot of warm grays to to keep harmony .  I used ochres grayed down for most of the covers except on the very lightest area and a great deal of simplification for the floral pattern.
