This is my favorite of all my nest paintings. My children hate the title, but I love it. It is a dramatically lit nest, it needed a dramatic title. This painting has just returned from the show at WSOC-TV studios.

Abandoned was completed in my home studio in Charlotte, North Carolina. c2011.
Media: Abandoned was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides to allow for display without a frame. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.
